The purpose of this lesson is for the children to focus on the problemof getting their caps back from the monkeys, offering specific and relevant solutions, and analyzingresults.The intent for the teacher is to use adaptive facilitation to focus children on solving the problem ofgetting their caps back and analyzing the stakes and outcome of each possible solution.
