The CAST Troupe is a vibrant ensemble of talented teen vocalists dedicated to delivering high-quality performances throughout the year.
Members sharpen their singing skills, explore diverse musical styles, and share their passion for music at community events, Childsplay productions, and special performances, all while building confidence, collaboration, and stage experience.

CAST is a dynamic ensemble of talented teen singers focused on delivering high-quality vocal performances.
The troupe provides young vocalists with the opportunity to explore a diverse range of musical styles, hone their singing skills, and experience the excitement of live performance. With a primary focus on vocal excellence, CAST nurtures a collaborative environment where members grow as performers and gain valuable stage experience. Auditions are accepted on an ongoing basis, allowing the group to evolve and remain fresh with new talent. CAST is committed to offering young performers a supportive space to develop their craft and share their passion for music.
CAST Troupe Schedule, Performances & Program Details
Rehearsals
Will be ongoing on Mondays from 5 PM – 7 PM starting August 17th and ending on December 7th, 2026 for the Fall Semester.
Performances
The CAST troupe will perform throughout the semester at various events like on the “Academy Days” at all of Childsplay’s public shows, other academy performances, festivals, Childsplay’s Gala in the Spring, and various events throughout the year.
Tuition
Tuition is $60 per month for a total of $300 per semester. Payments are ran on the 21st of each month.

Meet the Director
Rachel McCabe joined Childsplay in the summer of 2017 as a Teaching Artist. She has been a professional Singer/Actress for 15 years and attended Stockton and Billingham School of Performing Arts in England where she first began her Career, She relocated to the US in 2002 where she continued to perform.
Theatre performances include Chrissy, Hair (The Arc) Sue, A Slice Of Saturday Night (The Arc) Nancy, Oliver (Starlight Theatre). At Universal Studios Rachel performed in The Beetlejuice Graveyard Revue, The Blues Brothers Show and How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
Rachel was also a part of the creative team as a mentor and a host for The Stars youth enrichment program at Universal Studios, as well as the Sound Design Project and Orlando Music fest. Rachel has been a Teaching Artist and Youth Director for Middlesbrough little Theatre, The Arc and Orlando Stagecoach.
