Write Now is a national effort to advocate for playwrights and promote the development of new work for young audiences by:

Supporting the work of emerging and established playwrights through a biennial national competition and process-focused workshop

Engaging a broad representation of the TYA field in an ongoing conversation about new play development

Creating a stronger environment for new work by fostering connections and collaborations

Cultivating a common language of shared values about new work from the perspectives of playwrights, producers, community stakeholders, and academia.

Write Now is a proud collaboration between Childsplay and Indiana Repertory Theatre and is funded in part by a generous grant from the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation.
