Inspired by books like “The Day the Crayons Quit” “Harold and the Purple Crayon” and “Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?”, students will discover new imagined worlds, create unique characters, and discover how colors can inspire art and stories. Using theatre elements, students will utilize their actors tools and practice being bold and brave storytellers!

Drama develops a child’s creative thinking, cooperation, and literacy skills. In each class the perfect stories serve as launching pads for dramatic adventures. Participants explore them through dramatic play, dance, music, narrative pantomime, and story drama; building interpersonal and presentational skills. Each class culminates with an informal sharing for family on the last day of class. These classes are a perfect entrance point for a student who is ready to play, laugh, learn and explore through drama.
