Join us for this exciting drop-in workshop taught by Childsplay's Artistic Director, Dwayne Hartford. Whether you're a seasoned actor looking to diversify your career or a budding performer eager to explore new horizons, this workshop is the ideal place to gain an understanding of more opportunities.

 

We'll provide valuable insights into where and how to find work as a performer within the TYA field which stands for "Theatre for Young Audiences".

 

A highlight of the workshop will be the opportunity for volunteers to showcase their audition material. Dwayne will provide personalized feedback and guidance, offering invaluable insights to enhance your audition piece.
 

Participants will also learn the art of acting like a child, irrespective of your age! Mastering the art of portraying youthful energy and wonder is essential in TYA performances. We will explore those techniques to bring out the inner child in every participant.
