Danette Porter's arts education began in Mesa Public schools and lead to The American Musical Dramatic Academy in Los Angeles where she earned a certificate in Musical Theater performance. 
 Returning to AZ brought opportunities to work with Southwest Shakespeare Company, Hale Center Theater, Theater Works and others.
 She performed with Childsplay's school tour of 'In My Grandmother's Purse' in 2007-2008.
 Since 2009 she has worked with Arizona Curriculum Theater to keep Arts in schools with dance, music and performance lessons focused on Math, Science, History and Literature.
