As know well now, Governor Ducey has issued guidelines to combat the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) by restricting public gathering and encouraging social distancing.
As a result, we have made the difficult decision to postpone in-person Academy classes and in-person field trip performances. Instead, we have launched online Academy classes and virtual activities for families, along with virtual programs for schools this fall.
As a nonprofit arts organization, Childsplay relies exclusively on the participation of donors, subscribers, and ticket buyers like you. This support is the core of our existence and without it, Childsplay and other arts organizations could see devastating losses due to the impact of COVID-19. We ask for your patience, partnership and understanding during this incredibly difficult time as we navigate these challenges.
Now, more than ever, we need your help to sustain us through this public health crisis. If you are able to, here are some ways you can help ensure Childsplay can continue bringing imagination and wonder to our community after the dangers have passed: make a donation of any amount to Childsplay @ www.childsplayaz.org/give
We are still processing credits and gift certificates to those who requested them in the spring. Due to the overwhelming amount of activity and limited staff right now, we ask that you remain patient, as it will take time for the staff to reach all of our affected patrons.
If you choose to transfer your purchase to a donation or a future class or performance, your dollars will be put to work immediately, sustaining the livelihoods of our ensemble and the partners we work with outside of our office walls.
We recognize that this pandemic will affect all of our lives in significant ways. We thank you in advance for standing with us in any way you can during this time. And, if you have any questions, please reach out.
Stay safe and healthy, and know that we look forward to when we can, again, Imagine Together with you.
