Where are my passes? - Information about accessing your Play Pass account.
Your Play Passes will be in your account at the Tempe Center for the Arts box office which will be created for you.
You will be able to access your account online, or if you prefer, by phone or in person.
We will email you a link to the online box office together with your user name, password and instructions for accessing your account.
For orders placed on or before July 10, you will receive the email by July 15.
For orders placed after July 10, you will receive the email within three business days of your order, usually sooner.
Passes can be redeemed beginning August 4, when tickets for “Miss Nelson is Missing!” will be available to pass holders.
If you haven’t received the email by that time you can email info@childsplayaz.org or call 480-921-5700.

How do I redeem my passes?
You can redeem your passes in person or over the phone or online.
In person – Visit the box office at the Tempe Center for the Arts, 700 W. Rio Salado Parkway, Tempe.
By phone – Call the TCA box office 480-350-2822 and identify yourself as a Childsplay play pass holder. Tell the representative which performance (date and time) you’d like to attend and how many passes you’d like to use. Your tickets will be held at “will call” for you to pick up or they can be mailed to you, and the number of passes used will be deducted from your account at that time.
Online – Log in to your account with your user name and password. Choose your performance and your seats. When it’s time to pay, click on “APPLY DISCOUNT” and select “PLAY PASS REDEMPTION” and the amount due will change to $0. The number of passes redeemed will be deducted from your account total.

They are asking for my credit card information – will I be charged?
No – your card will not be charged, but you must enter a valid credit card in order to proceed with your reservation. You will only be charged if you decide to make a change to your reservation ($5 per ticket). You can save the credit card information at the website, so you don’t have to enter that information again when you make future transactions.

I’ve forgotten how many passes I have left. What do I do?
You can either call the box office or log in to your account with your user name and password and click on “your account” on the right side of the screen. You will see a link that says “see details/redemption history.” When clicked, that link will open a window showing you how many passes you have redeemed, how many remain.

I purchased play passes as a gift for someone else. What do I do?
If you gave Childsplay the recipient’s information when you placed the order, that person will have his/her own account.
If you would like to give all the passes you purchased to someone else, log in and click on “Your Account.” Click on the first link “Change Account Information” under the words “My Account.” This will allow you to put the play passes under any name and contact information. Send the recipient the login information.

I wanted to give some of my passes as a gift. How do I give passes to someone else?
If you know the date and time of the performance that the recipient would like to attend, you can make the reservation for him/her. If redeeming your passes online, simply select the Print@Home option and give the tickets to the recipient. If ordering through the TCA box office phone line, you can request the tickets to be mailed to a different name and address or for the tickets to be placed at “will call” under an alternate name.
If you would like to order some paper play passes, you have that option. Send an email to rwalsh@childsplayaz.org with PAPER PASSES in the subject line. Indicate how many paper passes you’d like from your account and how they should be divided (i.e., 8 total, 2 sets of 2 and 1 set of 4) and they will be mailed to you. [These passes will not be deducted from your account until they are redeemed by the recipient.]

I made reservations for a show and now we can’t attend on that date. What do I do?
You can exchange tickets by bringing your tickets in to the box office at least 24 hours in advance of the performance you are scheduled to attend. If your tickets are at ‘will call’ you can call to make the exchange. There is a $5 fee per ticket to make exchanges, and tickets can only be exchanged within the run of a show. (For example, you can exchange from one week of Miss Nelson is Missing to another, but you cannot exchange from Miss Nelson is Missing to The Velveteen Rabbit.)

I made reservations for a show and couldn’t attend. Have I lost my passes?
Once the show you made reservations for has passed you can no longer exchange tickets.

Do I need a ticket for my baby/toddler?
Everyone who enters the theater needs a ticket – even babies and toddlers. For most shows we do not recommend bringing children younger than 3. (The Velveteen Rabbit and Busytown are exceptions.)
