Childsplay is a professional non-Equity theatre company. Actors are hired on a full-time, per show or per season basis. Childsplay holds season auditions for actors in June, often in collaboration with Actors Theatre. Specifics on the auditions, including what is required and how to register, can be found on www.durantcom.com in mid to late May. Education Assistant

Fulltime position with Childsplay, a professional theatre company. Responsibilities include serving as assistant to the project director and grant manager for a federal arts-in-education grant, assisting with the management of school and community residencies, and other education programs. Minimum requirements: B.A. degree and proficiency in computer skills, with ability to manage budget and cash flow reports. Experience in theatre education/TYA preferred; willingness and ability to work flexible hours; self-starter with excellent organizational skills; comfortable dealing with the public, specifically administrators, teachers and parents; ability to travel to all school districts throughout the greater Phoenix metropolis.
